Lots of action about to come

After having spent two lovely evenings with new friends in two of Heidelberg's numerous beergarden on Fri and Sat, I had a restful weekend.
Of course I was hiking as usually with Shaun, but only on Saturday this week.

Yesterday I went to Metzingen- the Hugo Boss (plus more designer) Outlet City near Stuttgart- I tried to get my shopping under control and only got two pullover, 2 shirts and a tie for the graduation ball on Friday.
My mom will be arriving already on Wednesday for that, my father and his girlfriend the day after and my brother plus Dee and Daddi (I keep my fingers crossed for her, while I am typing these words she is in her final exams!) on Friday.
GradBall is on Heidelberg Castle and I am sure it will be a great event. Really looking forward to it. Besides we are going to have sushi, see an aunt of mine in Mannheim, will be at the world premiere of the opera "Fiesque" and probably hardly find time to sleep ;-))

Attached pics show my lazy student look of these days. Some say facial hair suits me, others dont like it all...
And the first pic, I got from Steven from my little photoshooting in London- there are more to come...

Home

I had serveral reasons to go home last week. My grannie got a new knee joint, my grandfather is recovering from melonma surgery and radiation, I havent seen my father and his parents in almost 1,5 years and every aunt and grandcousin and ... told me to come over after my exam.
My mum had long red roses on my bedside table and even a little stamp as gimmick with my name and "doctor".

While being at the little weekend bungalow of my aunt a terrible storm slash thunderstorm slash hail came over us. the icy cubes where smashing on the roof with such an impact and with such a noise that you could hardly hear your own screamed word.
Fortunately it didnt last very long, no bigger damages and mother nature showed her pretty quiet face soon after....

Garden party

Last week (when we did not have that rainy shitty overcast weather aaaaaall day) Antje, Mascha and Moritz came over for a lovely dinner party on the terrace.
My neighbour (aged 73) is so funny and kinda cute. He came over to give each of the ladies a little bouquet with flowers from his garden...
